Guitar - Definately the hardest category, but I'd have to say John Petrucci (Dream Theater), with Steve Vai a close second. Then a toss-up between Joe Satriani and Yngwie Malmsteen. Bass - Geddy Less (Rush) Bass, Synthesizer, Vocals all at the same time. Drums- Neil Peart (Rush) Just listen to O Baterista and you'll understand why. Plus his set is humongous. If it got any bigger it would eat him. Keyboards - Jordan Ruddess (Dream Theater) I don't really know any other keyboardists because most bands are just guitar/bass/drums/vocals.
If you love guitar, listen to any of the G3 albums with Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, plus either Yngwie Malmsteen, John Petrucci, or Eric Johnson. About a 20 minute set for each guitarist with his own band and then another 20-30 minute set where all the guitarists jam together, playing classic songs. They always do at least one Jimi Hendrix song. Amazing if you don't get tired of endless guitar solos. Billy Sheenan also plays as bassist with Steve Vai's band.
